Ghislaine Maxwell’s family appeals to Trump amid battle over Epstein files

Amid an explosive fight on Capitol Hill over whether the Trump administration should release records related to Jeffrey Epstein, the family of the disgraced financier’s convicted right-hand woman is saying she “did not receive a fair trial.”Maxwell, 63, was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for recruiting and grooming teenage girls to be sexually abused by Epstein, several years after he died in jail while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
